Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu awarded the Order of Kutuzov to the 74th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Central Military District

Today, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu awarded the Order of Kutuzov to the 74th Separate Guards Zvenigorod-Berlin Order of Suvorov 2nd Class motorized rifle brigade of the Central Military District, stationed in the city of Yurga.

“A wonderful tradition is being revived in Russia - awarding military units with state awards for the successful completion of combat training tasks. Today, the 74th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade was awarded this high honor,” said Army General Sergei Shoigu, speaking at the award ceremony.

The head of the military department noted that “during the performance of combat missions in the North Caucasus, the brigade’s servicemen showed an unbending will to win, dedication, courage and heroism, for which many were awarded state awards.”

“Many military units and formations attached the Order of Kutuzov to their battle banners. Today, their number includes the 74th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade,” emphasized Army General Sergei Shoigu.

“On this significant day, I would like to note that for many years the personnel of your formation have been an example of service to the Fatherland, demonstrating loyalty to the best traditions of the Russian army,” said the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.

After the award ceremony, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation met with the Governor of the Kemerovo Region Aman Tuleyev and thanked the local authorities for caring for the military personnel of the 74th separate motorized rifle brigade stationed in the city of Yurga. “Here we will equip the brigade with new equipment,” said Sergei Shoigu.

For reference.

The 74th separate motorized rifle brigade has been stationed in the city of Yurga since January 1, 1993. In the period from December 28, 1994 to April 22, 1995, a separate regiment was formed on the basis of the brigade, the commander of which was appointed Colonel Arkady Bakhin (now First Deputy Minister Defense of the Russian Federation), carried out combat missions to disarm illegal armed groups and restore constitutional order on the territory of the Chechen Republic. 1 thousand 274 military personnel of the brigade took part in the hostilities.

From October 1999 to April 2001, brigade personnel took part in the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. As a result of two campaigns in the North Caucasus, 3.5 thousand servicemen of the brigade were awarded state awards. Five of them were awarded the high title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

He took part in hostilities as part of a military unit from Yurga, Kemerovo region. This unit, as is known, suffered severe losses during the December 1994 assault on Grozny. That's when the guy from the Fast Source died. However, all this time he was considered a missing relative; the Ministry of Defense did not report anything about his fate. And only the mother’s persistent search allowed her to find her son’s body in the deceased refrigerators in Rostov-on-Don. 04/11/1996 he was buried in his homeland.

In ancient times, when the Kazakh people asked for protection from Russia, the Cossacks went to those lands. The year was 1867 - the year of the formation of the Semirechensk Cossack Army.

The third generation of Semirechensk Cossacks, the Kutyukovs, by the will of fate in 1992 ended up on Altai land, in Bystry Istok. The status of migrants is not an easy lot. At that time, three sons had already grown up in the Kutyukov family: Andrey, Alexey, Alexander. Three strong shoulders in their old age should become a support for their parents - Vyacheslav Stepanovich and Lyubov Efimovna. The eldest graduated from the Institute of Architecture and Construction. Average athlete, candidate master of sports. And the youngest... Sasha was also born in Almaty, grew up among a people strong in its traditions, - says his father - Where, for example, preparing excellent food was a man’s privilege. The owner got up early on the holiday, while the family was still sleeping, and began to work magic at the stove. But as soon as you rolled up your sleeves, you could hear the patter of your youngest son’s little feet in the children’s bedroom. And the first hot pancake was always his. Sasha will write his last letter on November 7, 1994. Mom keeps letters from her son as her most precious possessions. These lines are the living words of her boy: “I promised you, mom, that I would behave well. I do that, I don’t go anywhere, I don’t even go on a self-propelled vehicle, even though I could. But I promised! New Year is coming soon, and then spring, summer and home, don’t worry too much, time will fly by. Mom, send me some photo of us together, otherwise sometimes I just want to look at you...” Forgive us, said the journalist, it’s our poverty that we don’t have ability to store records. We erase and record new material.."

“Missing” - the blow bent the parents’ shoulders to the ground. Self-propelled gun No. 614 disappeared in Grozny during the offensive. And in the fall of 1995, a letter arrived from Rostov-on-Don. We need to go for identification 24. The military examination laboratory examined the remains of soldiers, carried out painstaking work, prints, etc. For a whole month in Moscow we walked along the corridors of power and achieved our goal. Now genetics will be done, and parents will not pay for it.
This time I brought my son’s dental record for identification. Based on a lot of data, Sasha was finally found...
Conclusion of the examination:
"Presumably died on January 3, 1995. Prerequisites for death - mine - explosive wound"
“Sasha was a tall, stately guy,” his father says. “Everyone had fists. What’s left of him?” The hand was in a glove... And it was attached to another corpse. He could not speak further. But then he raised his head - This was our gene pool, these boys are heroes. Everything seemed to be a selection. A lot of them passed before my eyes when on the display I had to carefully peer into the faces of the dead soldiers lying on the battlefield in order to identify my son. Who deserted? Who mowed down from the army? They are not real men. But these boys are our pride. I spoke with those who fought with Sasha. When they were sent into battle, there was talk about possible captivity. And Sasha took out a grenade and said: “Here is my captivity!” The nature of the wound suggests that this grenade was exploded in his hands.

Career military and contract soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have become an integral part of the armed conflict that is taking place on the territory of Ukraine.
Columns of military equipment, trains with ammunition and fuel and lubricants, units and brigades deployed to the Donbass - these are the realities of the “Russian world”.
With the help of force, deception and manipulation, the “Kremlin curators” have been trying to impose their opinion and vision of life on the Ukrainian people for three years now. The so-called “militia” or “Army of the South-East” would have been defeated long ago without the support of the Russian government. Many members of illegal armed groups (which were created in 2014 under the leadership of the same employees of the FSB and the State Apparatus of the Russian Federation) realized their guilt, left the groups or went on the run. Many, disappointed, simply handed over their weapons and sold their uniforms and went home. Therefore, in order to maintain the unstable situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, those responsible for the occupation of Ukrainian territories decided to use the Russian Armed Forces in the ATO zone. This decision was not spontaneous. Since quite recently the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region published evidence (in the form of audio materials) about the direct participation of the Russian government in destabilizing the situation in Ukraine. Which is proof of armed aggression against our country. The government of the Russian Federation can endlessly prove that the RF Armed Forces are not on the territory of Ukraine. And our team, receiving data from open sources, will continue to collect material on the participation of professional military personnel and contract soldiers of the Russian army in clashes in the Donbass.

Some members of illegal armed groups have several accounts on social networks. Which makes it possible to live by double standards for some time.
That's Mikhailov Roman on one of his pages is an active member of a militant group, and on the other he is also a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces. On March 9, 2015, Mikhailov publishes a photograph where he is in the uniform of the Russian army, and the chevrons indicate his relationship with the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade. Also in the photo you can see shoulder straps that indicate that Mikhailov is a junior sergeant of the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian servicemen of the 74th Brigade have been identified who received the status of combatants based on the results of the so-called. Rostov-Ukraine business trip 2015.

The 74th separate motorized rifle brigade (military unit 21005, Kemerovo region, Yurga) of the 41st combined arms army of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces has more than once come to the attention of the international intelligence community InformNapalm. According to the information obtained, the battalion tactical group of this formation took part in the fighting in the Donbass in the summer and autumn of 2014. Later, some of its military personnel joined the illegal armed formations of Novorossiya.

The photo album of the person involved for May-September 2015 contains many photographs from the Rostov region, including recognizable sights of Novocherkassk. Also photographs from the fields, according to Maslikhin’s own commentary - from “Donetsk”, where our “hero” poses with a turtle and snake kebabs, which diversifies the diet of dry rations that the Russian military eats during several months of business trips.

Of course, skeptics will say that none of the above can be taken as evidence. For example, the mentioned Donetsk may be Donetsk of the Rostov region. But how then can we explain the fact that several of V. Maslikhin’s colleagues in the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade were found to have photographs of certificates of combat veterans received in peacetime?
