  5. In a separate container, beat the whites, then add to the nuts and yolks and mix gently.

  9. Cut the cake lengthwise into three layers and spread them with whipped cream.
  10. Combine the cakes.

  3. Peel and slice the apple and place the pieces on top of the salad.
