We were lucky enough to visit the production of such tea, see everything with our own eyes and evaluate the level of production. This factory is located several tens of kilometers from Guangzhou (China).
The size of the factory is truly amazing in its scale. The full production cycle is carried out here. That is, even the containers themselves (plastic bottles) are made here from plastic granules.


The point of producing such tea is to brew the tea leaves with boiling water, infuse it according to certain rules and bottle it.
The tea is poured straight hot, which makes it possible to seal it without the use of preservatives.

The immediate question is, how does plastic container react to boiling water? For this case, a special formula of plastic with an increased carbon content has been developed. Boiling water can be poured into such a bottle without problems, because... The bottle material is close in composition to glass.


The process of brewing tea in this factory is simply stunning. Loose leaf tea is poured into a large stainless steel tea bag and placed in hot water. All this happens under the strict supervision of the operator, who monitors the water temperature, brewing time and a host of other parameters. After a certain time, the “bag” is removed from the water, and the resulting decoction goes to work - it is filtered, and then sent for bottling.

We brewed green tea with fried rice “Genmaicha”; this is a new product for this plant (we are one of the first to taste this new product).


The remaining tea after brewing is thrown away and a new batch of tea raw materials is poured into the “bag”. Such a plant consumes 2 tons of dry tea per day and produces about 80 thousand bottles of iced tea per shift.

We were very pleased with what we saw and became one more level of education. In addition, we gained an interesting experience in understanding the modern tea industry in the world.


I think such a tea product would be in great demand in Russia, but so far we do not have such factories. Investors today are afraid to invest money in this; therefore, supporters of a healthy diet do not yet have access to a product that would actually be to their liking.
